flywheel

Default flywheel

hello... i'm doing my clutch on my s2k, i took everything off but a 17mm or 18mm socket doesn't fit on the bolts. what can i use to take them off? i'm pretty much stuck there...

Are you trying to use a 12 point or 6 point socket??

17mm, 12 point socket. It must be ground flat or you will likely strip the bolts.

Socket on the right is ground flat.

ok, thanks i really appriciate your help. so just to make sure, its a 12point 17mm socket ground flat, not the deep socket.

Must have a 12 point socket. Don't grind the socket off square.

ok, since i had to go buy the socket, now is dark and i cannot see anything, so do i just put a screwdriver between the flywheel teeth to stop it from spinning? i dont have a grinder to do that, i hope it doesn't strip. oh btw i have a fidanza flywheel and i'm putting my stock flywheel back on.

Buy an Impact wrench. It's your next best friend for things like this.

Sometimes in life, 2 is better than 1. Such as 2 girls in the bedroom. Other times in life, having 1 of something is better. Such as a flywheel.

it may be better to have someone hold the front of the crank, but if u have to screwdriver may wrk, make sure is a nice n strong one

how would i remove thebearing from the flywheel? like the little one i also want to replace that.
