All,

First of all, I am new to this forums due to recently purchasing an AP1 S2000. I purchased this car as a project bcause it looks quite rough but I am currently going through the process of making sure everything is where it needs to be. I am unsure what the previous owners intent was but I have found multiple vaccuum hoses removed so at this point I just don't trust it. Anyways...upon my investigation I found a wire that is lacking a connector and is just laying there. It comes off the same part of the harness that has the two connections to the alternator. Does anyone know where this goes??

 

Take some pictures of the engine bay and add them here, it's going to help a lot.

 

It's for your AC compressor. That's the only other wire bundled with the Alternator.

Is your AC compressor removed? If not, and that wire is disconnected, there's a chance it has an internal fault and they disconnected it to keep it from engaging. Hope this helps.
