Default Front Lower Rear Control Arm Bush Seized

Hi
i am sweating blood trying to remove drivers side control arm (the rear mounting is the one causing problems) The bolt came out easily but the smaller cylinder that permits adjustment appears to have welded itself solid to the wishbone bush sleeve. Meaning it's currently impossible to remove the arm.
Does anybody know any ways around this?
thanks very much !

Common problem, you need to hacksaw it out... These things tend to seize inside the bushing on about every S i know!

Sad to say it is common, and quite a job to remove it. you could try soaking it from every direction, and letting it sit for an hour or so...with an impact gun, impact it back and forth, it may come out. This has worked for me 1/2 the time.

thanks guys. In the end after heat, impact blood and nearly tears we had to cut through the wishbone to gain access to it and then cut through the sleeve and adjuster to remove it. if only they had greased it when assembled!

Have you seen the topic(s) about this in the UK section?
Honda UK just doesn't care.

Back in 2008 I mailed Honda in the Netherlands about this corrosion.
Just to see how they would reply.
Translated:
When you use the car in the winter time on salted roads, for a decent amount of time or miles, this corrosion is quite normal.

IOW: they don't care.

Conclusion:
Honda doesn't know what this is.

Had to pull the whole front subframe on my car to get mine out.

PAIN IN THE @$$

But now I am very happy with my Mugen bushings and loads of Anti-Seize.
