Front subframe braces. What are these.

Default Front subframe braces. What are these.

I was going thru a thorough examination of my cars underside when I had it up on the rack and I noticed this.

It's missing the passenger side this thing!
Circled in red.



tantheman I used ur picture.

Should I get this replaced.

i would definately replace it, anything like that would only be there for some sort of structural, or saftey reason, either way i would replace it yesterday

My thought is if you're suppose to have 2 of anything and you're missing 1 it can't be good.

Looks like its called a subframe gusset

part number 50241-S2A-G00

Ok ok thanks.
I haven't found any aftermarket braces that bolt onto there so I guess I'll have to get one from the dealer, or maybe source one from someone here that's wrecked!

i would look around more to see if anything else is missing. maybe it was in an accident before? better to find out while the car isnt moving and could possible danger yourself.
