Default Fujitsubo Resonator Rattle

I bought a used Fujitsubo Legalis R and the exhaust resonator has a rattle. I have tried to contact Fujitsubo, no response. Also tried to contact a fujitsubo selling vendor on here.... no response.

Would you recommend replacing the resonator or repairing the old? What would be a good replacement resonator? I was looking at ultra quiet vibrant resonators.

Also, what is a resonable price to have a resonator installed?

thx

did you contact their american distributor? Chances are they wont help you since you bought used. If your going to cut the exhaust up putting in another resonator, why dont you take a look at the existing one and see if anything can be done to fix it...

I contacted the distibutor in California with no response and i didn't mention that it was second hand, just to see if they would help me first. Im 100% sure mine is in the resonator instead of the muffler because when it was off the car, i could shake it and hear the rattle in the resonator.

Can't do the repair myself since I can't weld. I feel like if a shop tried to fix the rattle, by the time they chop it open and reseal it, it would cost about the same for an $80 resonator + install. Not sure though

Thanks for the responses

in my experience, most resonators that are fixed, end up rattling again. i would just cut the resonator off and weld a new one in.
