Gears Grinding?
Okay...I don't know if this is normal or not, but it seems like when my tranny is cold, it grinds into third. Kinda like the clutch has not completely disengaged...nothing audible, but more of a Duh Duh into third feld through the shifter...it goes away when the engine and tranny warms up. Is this something to be concerned about?
i know that it seems like all my questions are noob ones, but i have never owned a rwd and this is my first Honda. I crossed over from the dark side (Nissan)

Very common to have the gears "hang" as they're going into the shift gates when the transmission is cold. Try a different transmission fluid, this will usually help the cold performance of the transmission. There is a new formulation of Honda MTF available that has much better cold performance than the factory fill MTF that was put in your '06.
Lots of people on here also like GM Syncromesh Friction Modified however, they also complain that over time it breaks down and starts to feel notchy again.

Since your car is still under warranty, take it to the dealer and complain about the notchiness. I bet you get a free drain and fill with the new MTF. It will have a white cap on the bottle and a green label. Good luck and thanks for fighting for our freedom!
