Well, I never took it to the track to get any times, but I my kills included a 99 cobra and a nonsupercharged Saleen. I had a thing for picking fights with stangs! It just seemed in San Diego that there were just too many cocky stang owners...And most of them had no idea that would spray that sh*t anytime just to spite them! My car was tunned really well though...in fact, I was pulling slightly on a new GT stang without any nitrous all the way up to 125. Oh yeah, and I barried the speedo on a 5th gear squeeze outside of Vegas! That was damn scary!

Blake,
A turbo does not have an off/on switch.. it takes time to spool up so the power is delivered in a gradual manner. Having had a very nice direct port set-up on my Prelude I can tell you that with an 80 shot and no progressive controller... I did an 1/8th burn out my first time with it to the track. That's right... smoked all the way through the first 1/8th. Also... I don't think the hp delivery will be as harsh as the instant torque that comes with nitrous. My guess is that with a 100 shot (direct port) you're probably going to be picking up close to 120 lb/ft. of torque. Also... with a direct port set up, you're probably looking at very little difference between whatever 'shot' (jetting) you use and RWHP gain.

I understand. I was doing some tests to see what RPM's the engine falls too after a shift at redline, and I'll have to play around some more if I actually decide to get NOS. I was thinking, with a window switch, if I have it cut off at 8600 RPMS, I'd probably be shifting right around then as well, instead of going to redline. I think my RPM's would fall to about 6500, so I'd try to set the progressive controller to 50% right there, so the engine would just be absorbing a 50HP jolt. Don't think it'd be too bad.
