Default handling - troubleshooting tips

stock - 2001 10K miles

when I got in my car Saturday morning I was unpleasently surprized to find out that she felt quite squirrelly. Handling through corners did not seem to be affected, but the car feels like it's getting thrown around a bit when driving straight at speed (50mph and up). A lot like driving on a road with mild ruts, except there aren't any. The tires are in their correct places (I had a service done a week prior, so I thought they may have rotated the tires by mistake - but they haven't). Does anybody have tips on what I should look at next?

Can't rotate the tires- the hub sizes are different front and rear.

What's the temperature like? I've noticed some damping issues when it's cold (around freezing), but somehow I doubt it's that cold in your neck of the woods right now.

Losing the rear toe will make the car feel squirrelly at speed. If the shop dialed some out in an alignment, or the alignment got messed up, that may be a factor. I'd also check pressures.

Check the tire pressures with a very accurate gauge. One psi off on one tire can screw things up.

It was the tire pressure. Right driver's side trickled down to 20 psi - I must be going blind. Thanks.

I hate how tire pressure affects the car so much, that's it, I'm getting a Mustang.

I'm afraid marcucci is right, the front and rear hub sizes are quite different... 70mm in front and 64mm in the rear.

cheers,
