Having problems shifting. Help!
I changed my clutch from an ACT Street Setup back to the OEM Honda Clutch with new flywheel and everything OEM. I have a 2001 Spa yellow with 85,000 miles on it. Yes it's a lot of miles. I travel a lot.
Well a few weeks after changing my clutch my shifter won't go into 1st or 2nd. I have to grind it up and down on 3rd and 4th until the shifter feels smooth and then 1st gear will work again.
I read on the boards about a 1-2 Grind TSB but all I"m getting is everyone saying it's a 1-2 grind. I still can't find the actuall TSB on it.
Can someone please post up the 1-2 Grind TSB if you have it.
Second note. Every morning my steering wheel feels like it doesn't want to turn after I start it up . Even after driving and warming up the car the steering wheel feels really tight and tough to turn. The Steering wheel problem happend months before my shifter problem. Not sure if they are related or is my car just dying.
I do love the S, and I don't take it to the track but every now and then I do let loose on the High Way at over 100 MPH. Did I break anything ? Are all these problems due to wear and tear.
I change my MTF with Honda MTF every 4 months. I change my Diff fluid every 4 months also. I do my oil change with Mobil 1 Full Sync and have my timing changed and spark plugs redone. I'm anal about getting things fixed before there is a problem. But these 2 problems just stuck up on me and I can't find a fix.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jungliss.
