Just got my GReddy hood dampers in and as soon I go to install them i notice they are way over pressurized, i have to put my full weight on them to compress them. when I put them on the hood, the hood obviously did not close. Anyone ever have this problem?

 

All dampers need to be cycled by hand multiple times before installation and use. Pull them off and try cycling them a few times to see if that helps. Did you fully read the instructions or just the install section?
