Default Helms cd-rom

Helms ( http://www.helminc.com ) is selling a "2000 Express Change cd-rom"
They say it is for training purposes. Is it worth purchasing along with the service manual?

thanks,
rmmmm

The cd I'm refering to comes up when searching for s2000 manuals and cds, (stock # EXC01WCBT1CT). The information for it says:

"Produced by the OEM for training their technicians on specific components, new models and modules, these videos, manuals and courses provide detailed instruction on how to diagnose and repair the vehicle."

and covers all 2002 Honda models including the s2000.

Unless you plan to do more than just simple things like oil changes, etc, I think the regular Helm manual would be quite adequate. Even guys who do their own clutch jobs and rear diff swaps (like me) found the Helm manual to be sufficient. Are you likely to tear your car apart and put it back together?

Not really, but for only $25 I thought it might make it easier to sort through and find info.
But thanks for the recommendation on the manual. I think that is a must even for me who will not get into it as much as you but I always like to know what is going on and how it's put together.

25 bucks is pretty good for the info you would have access to. However, I'll give you an example. When I did my rear diff tear down, I was under the car quite a bit, with the Helm manual under there with me. Even if you had a lap top, I can only "imagine" me under the car, with dirty, greasy, hands, trying to access the info off that disc. Of course, you could find what you need and print it out before you get down and dirty.

Doesn't look like anyone has seen it so I think I'll get one with the manual.
I'll post more info when I do..

thanks...
