Help!!!!!!!!!
I have a MY02 s2k with 3100 miles on the car right now.... and my CLUTCH IS GONE. I cant even believe it but its true it slips on every gear. I took it to the service department of my dealer and they ran a test and "Yupp theyr gone and the warranty does not cover this so it will be $1380" OMG was my responce and i tryed explaining to them that this wasnt my first Manual tranny and that theres no way i could waste a clutch thats supposed to go 60k miles in just 3...its almost impossible. But all they said was well its not warrantied so we just cant help you cause theyr like brakes...and it all depends on the driver. Now my question is what can i do to try and get them to change it for free..cause theyr no way im gonna spend $1380 on a clutch with 3k mile car. Another thing i observed was that ive had cars with shot clutches and ive been able to go for a while before i had to change it...and with this car i noticed it a week ago and it was only when i shifted fast and at a high RPM...but ever since it just keeps on getting worst( its so bad i cant even get it into 6th cause with a simple tap on the accelerator and it will slip.) What can i do and thanks in advanced.
P.S. If i do have to change it from my pocket than i would deffenitly go for ACT or something...wich would you guys recomend?
BTW- They are also including $288 for the Flywheel.

You're pretty much gonna have to pay for it yourself. It's a "wear item", and many people have run into the same issue you have. If you want to stick with Honda parts, buy from Trevor at http://www.handa-accessories.com and you'll save quite a bit of money. If you want to upgrade, ACT is good, some will recommend other brands. The Comptech lightened flywheel should work nicely as well.
I'm not sure why some people who drive "normally" have problem with the stock clutch, but people who abuse it (me) got 30K+ miles off of it and it never slipped once.

hmmm them adding a flywheel to the list is strange,
mine started slipping and i took it in and got them to see why it only lasted 12k miles, they took it apart and claimed abuse, after some arguing and a call to AHM, it was replaced under warranty, what happened to mine was, they said the clutch bearings ate into the flywheel, sounded like a defect and im guessing thats why they replaced it for me maybe you could use the flywheel being replaced against them and theyll cover it under warranty
