Yeah, I rmeember from my auto class that it should never drop below 12.2 or 12.4 or something, so 11.42 didn't sound good at all to me. But I jump-started it and now it's good and still starts by itself even a few hours after letting it sit.

Also, when I started it, it still has that weird sound it had before when turning it over, but I don't think that's a problem. Before I drove off, I gradually revved it and at first there was a very distinct noise, so I know the bent teeth weren't going to pleasant to hear, but after a bit, it went away. So maybe they got bent back already. Whatever it was, everything's all good now and it drives nice! Everything is back to normal and the clutch feels GREAT! I can definitely tell its not brand new, but it's so much better than when I first got my S.

Thank you for every one who helped me with this project! I really appreciate it!

Good news !, glad things are improving. After a few miles check the clutch rod freeplay sometimes the freeplay can tighten up on you after an install, just make sure it isn't overly tight putting pressure on the throwout bearing.

Will do! I have no idea how to check that, but I think I found a link a few weeks ago on Billman250 talking about adjusting that. What's the importance of it being at a certain spot?
