Default HELP: Comptech Intake Power Loss?

I have a Comptech intake and an HKS exhaust. Last night, I got the chance to drive the car in high speeds since I installed the intake. I noticed some sort of power loss on upper RPM's. Seems like when it had the stock airbox and the HKS exhaust, it kept pulling at high speeds but now it feels sluggish on higher speeds.

Seeking help from Comptech CAI owners...Do you experience the same thing? I did not reset the ECU after the install, but I am assuming that the ECU learned by now since I did this almost a month ago. Any advice will be appreciated!

Have you recently oiled the filter? Sometimes, if you put too much oil on it, it can seep through, and crap up the MAP sensor....

No, I did not oil it and was not over oiled during the first install. I checked last week and the intake piping/tubing did not have any traces of oil going through it. So I think that is not the problem. Do you expreience the same thing? Or did you notice gains all around upon installing the intake?

I can't say that I noticed either a gain or loss with the intake. Honestly, I have been disapointed with the build quality and have had numerous problems with it from the original style lid that was too high and contacted the hood to the recent pipe separation problem I have been having. I am considering junking it and getting an AEM V2. The Comptech intake sounds nice and looks the best to me though.
