Help! Engine won't turn after retainer change
Hi,
I just installed AP2 retainers in my 2003 S2000, and now when I try to turn the crank it feels like it is locking up at about +-10 degrees of TDC for #1. I have the cams lined up per the manual, and I never rotated the engine during the retainer change. Any ideas? Please help, I want to get my engine back together without wrecking anything! I didn't put too much torque on it, but there is a definite "springy" locking up feeling when I try to turn the crank.

I'm assuming you removed the cams?
TRIPLE check that they are aligned correctly with the crankshaft.
The crankshaft external and internal indicators should be at TDC, and the indicators on the gears should be pointing right at each other.
