I've not had this problem, I've covered 40,000 Kms and apart from servicing oil changes I've used only about a litre of oil. This includes driving a track weekend covering aproxiamately 500Km never out of VTEC. Mind you I did only get 3Km's to the litre of petrol during that weekend.
