So, my clutch/friction plate literally broke... part of the inner spring was wedged in the pressure plate, all kinds of messed up.
I found a local dealership that is willing to match prices from Majestic Honda, roughly 25-30% off of list price for a total of around a grand.
I also lucked out and I believe I purchased the second to last clutch release fork in all of the U.S. ??? Part is on a long backorder and I snatched up one from a dealer in CO... there is also one in CA but the dealer wouldn't ship out of state. According to HOA, these were the only two dealers that had the item in stock!
Anyways, all parts should be available for me to pick up between Monday & Wednesday, then carefully slappin it all back together!
Going from the S2000 as a DD for several months, back to my old 5speed '02 Focus that I haven't driven since I got the S, is horrendous!
