It just happens.
Those roller bearings are sealed & greased for life.
1 in a million doesn't make it to the age it is supposed to.
Not much you could have done to prevent this - nothing at all to be exact

yeah for a couple weeks it sounded like the car was "humming"(best way to describe it)
right before it happen all I heard was grinding, if your really that worried about it I would inspect the pulley/bearing it takes 10mins max to remove. Just remove the belt and undo the pulley with a 14 or 15mm wrench I cant remember which.

Hey, my radio volume knob just broke off. I guess it's time for new rims.
Damage looks worse then what it really is..... But you look really happy at the time they were hooking your car up!
Nothing really much to worry about.... just slap on a new one and your golden! Atleast they used a split deck tow truck so they don't have to 2x4 your wheels!
