OK so the story begins with my Headlights getting stolen last year.. I actually couldn't afford to buy new head lights (with hid kit etc) so I bought the Housing and ran High beam for a while (didn't get in trouble I guess the eyelids help)

I got the new headlights and when I plug it in the HID comes on for a second and then goes off. I check the Fuse box and see that the fuse for the headlight went bad - I put a new one in and plugged in the HID turned on and it come on again for a second then cut off again - looked at the fuse and it went bad - tried one more time and same thing happened.. I know there is some type of electrical issue here..

ANY THOUGHTS WILL BE APPRECIATED!

 

Did you get the right bulb and ballast/igniter?

 

well it all came together with the assembly and new housing (there's a bulb then a big circle cover behind that and then the box thing that bolted to the bottom..

I thought its a plug and play kinda thing

 

Oh...you bought the whole headlight. Was it new or used? If used, it may have had a problem when you bought it.

 

yea that's what i am thinking now.. oh well ill figure it out i guess until then (high beam)
