Default Home Depot catch can

First things first:

This is how I plumbed it,

The arrow on the can that shows the direction of air flow is plumbed with the PCV at the back of the arrow, and the arrow is pointing to the hose that goes to the intake manifold

The PCV hose is routed to the inlet side of the can, then the outlet of the can is routed to the intake manifold.

THe can has caught oil, but there's oil in the return line to the intake manifold. I'm assuming that his isn't right because the hose to the intake manifold should be clear of oil.

Am I missing something? Comments, suggestions, experiences? I'll post some pictures when get home

Catch can still has the stone filter in it.

Hose length is about 2 feet.

The mounting location is kind of strange. It looks pretty clean except for that aspect.

What do you mean looking for a filter? This is a filter. It comes with a stone filter.

Yeah I didn't mount mine like that I mounted mine right infront of the fusebox.

I used the one from Lowe's without any issues. I have mine sitting in between the fusebox and throttle cable mount thing by the clutch and brake reservoirs
