Hey Guys, I'm a new on the block.

I know that this Oil Diff discusion is an old one, but I just had my S2000 serviced at the Dealer and on my bill it is indicated as the oil replcaement being number Z-AP510, and in brackets (Pilot-Ridgeline)?

As was stated when I originally posted about this:

Wrong Fluid......eject....eject!

Drive your car minimally and probably straight back to the dealer. Preferably call the dealer and get your S flat-bedded back to the dealer. On the way, stop at your local auto parts store and pick up a quart of Mobil One 75W-90 weight synthetic gear fluid, for the dealer to install.

Damage has been done to differentials within 100 miles of driving with the wrong VTM (Pilot-CRV) differrential fluid.

My car went 5000 miles with the VTM fluid and the Blackstone Oil Labs report on the dealer installed fluid was like my differential wasn't going to last another 5000 miles.

Luckily I changed over to the Mobil One fluid and my car made it to 75000 miles before I changed over to the 4.56 gears. I was always worried about that 5000 miles that the car had the wrong differential fluid.

I would call to confirm what oil they put in there.

WOW! I need to get my differential fluid change, and they might even change it with the wrong fluid! Can I request them to replace it with Mobil1 75W90 synthetic gear oil?

if it says "Honda" on the bottle, I'll always buy something else for less money and be better off

I use Amsoil GL-5 exclusively

I took my car in for the differential change today, and man that guy who worked in parts was a punk! My service adviser tried asking them to show me the bottle, but the parts guy was like no its not for sale, they're not allow to see it or anything. And all they said it was 90W GL5, so hopefully they put the correct stuff. I'm scared! lol... On the service receipt it just says GL5.

If the receipt doesn't say VTM-4 they shouldn't have used it.
