[QUOTE=shepherddog,Jul 8 2007, 06:30 PM] The new Honda MTF is manufactured by a company I represent called Idemitsu Lubricants; www.apolloamerica.com.

i am saying i'll take GMSMFM over new honda mtf, in fact i am about to change them out within a week
I too was terribly disappointed when I put the new Honda MTF in (going from GMSMFM). I was ready to switch it out after only a couple of days. But while waiting for some AMSOIL MTF to arrive, I noticed that the HG MTF was starting to feel better. Then after about 200 miles, it felt great! I now have about 650 miles on it and I can say it is better than GMSMFM for my car. 2nd gear is still a little notchy while the transmission warms up, but much better than any other MTF fluid I have tried. Give it a chance before draining it.

i am a hair short of second oil change actually. sir, you are right, the fluid did broken in and felt improved after the miles racks up. But the initial shifting quality was never there, for only 10-15 dollar more, i'll go with the GM stuff

I have three quarts of the GM stuff anyone can have for free before I recycle them. I didn't like that stuff, and prefer the Honda MTF.
