Default Horrible noise coming from brakes (sound clip inside)

Hi everyone, I have a disgusting sound coming from my rear brakes (not sure if left or right or both). Here is the clip:

https://soundcloud.com/anthony-agrai...e-sound#t=0:11

Here is what I know:

- Only happens when backing up
- Only happens after car hasn't been used for a while
- Consistently getting worse over time
- Recently painted the calipers, flushed the fluid, and replaced the pads (removed all the screws/hardware)

Does anyone have any clue what's going on here?

Have your wheel bearings checked. I had a very similar sound and thought right away it was my braked but it was in fact my wheel bearings. Replaced them and hubs, sounds is perfect now.

Thanks for your reply. This only occurs in reverse after not using the car. Did you have similar symptoms? There is no noise at all when moving forward.

Lift your car and have someone spin the wheels, maybe you can pinpoint the origin this way.
