Default How to get inside the trunk

Is there a way to get inside the trunk from the interior? Removing panels behind seats?

Electrical connector for the trunk has been disconnected so button inside the compartment dont work.

Latch for the key is not connected so key doesnt work.

I need to manually hit the trunk release.

If the latch isn't connected, shouldn't the door open?

Through the interior.

There is a glow-in-the-dark manual release lever.

Theres a rod connected to the keyhole where the trunk is, so when you turn the key the rod extends and opens up the trunk. That rod isnt connected.

I'm really embarrassed to update my thread with this but it turned out to be a dead/low battery. I've had my car sitting up on my quikjack for the past month. I didn't think it was the battery because the light in the trunk would turn on.

My cluster is removed and the steering wheel column is loose so I had to remove the start button from the cluster, put on the jump starter and voila, everything works fine now.

Sorry folks.

Don't be sorry it got us all thinking how we'd do this if it were to happen. Glad you didn't have to remove most of the interior to tunnel in.
