How to get the trunk to open?

The trunk release is only on 2001 onwards if I remember correctly.

Hope the groceries aren't in there.

Just wondering here but did you actually reconnect the cable for the trunk release when you swapped out the trunk lids? If you didn't that's your problem, the buttons won't work and the fuses are all fine.

dammit.... i finally did it...
it was such a pain in the ass and i got like 30 cuts squeezing my ass in there...
i couldn't reach the trunk release button so i had to stick my arm and and remove the bolts that held down the trunk (2 bolts on each side). i used a 10mm socket. it was real dark and took me forever to do...

i found out my uncle or one of his workers unplugged the cable
what morons...

thanks a lot everyone for your help...
