Default I threw a flame

Friend said on a downshift back into high RPMS I threw a blue flame in my pipes. Mean im running a bit rich? Im sure im good but just want to make sure.

they run quite rich at the top end of the rpm band in stock form, no cat means the hydrocarbons aren't being converted so it could cause a flame in rare instances, blue flame sounds odd though, why not yellow.
