Everytime i start the car, i let it warm up and when it gets down to 1000RPM's they start to spike up to 2800RPM's and it keeps doing this every 3 seconds or so and it doesnt stop, even though when i turn on the AC it settles at 1500, but when i touch the throttle it goes back to the 1000-2800 fluctuations. I have doen the MAP wack, ive reset the ECU, and i have no CEL. Please help as the car is not very driveable.

IAC valve is sticking, guaranteed 100%.

Remove and clean, lube with WD40.

 

^Thanks, i took it out and cleaned up the carbon build up with WD-40 and put it back in, but it still kept having the issue, so i ended up chancing the IAC. Thanks for pin-pointing the problem Billman
