Idle and start up issues with AEM EMS.
I recently bought a '05 S2K with the AEM EMS 30-1052 unit in place of the stock ECU. My mods consist of I/H/E and a test pipe (soon I'm going to switch to a stock cat and AP2 exhaust). The S is not my daily driver, so sometimes I will go a full week without driving it. I've noticed that when it has been sitting in my garage for a period of time, it takes a couple seconds of cranking before it turns over and starts, especially now that it's getting colder. In addition, it usually has somewhat of a lumpy idle until either I give it some throttle, or until it "warms up" after a minute or so of what I'd call rough idling.
I've got some experience with modding S2Ks as this is my 2nd one, but I've got no experience with tuning or the AEM unit. What I do remember is that my prior S2K would fire right up, cold weather or not.
So is this a typical problem with AEM EMS that can be fixed with a good tune, or is this a problem with my car itself? Obviously because I have the EMS, taking it up to Honda to have them check things out is probably not going to be helpful, because all they want to do is hook the car up to a diagnostic machine, which they can't do without the stock ECU.
Any help would be appreciated.

So I'll need to have 2 different tunes, and then switch between maps depending on the weather I guess.
Hmm... unless I'm F/I, it might not be a bad idea to just trade this unit for a stock ECU.

That was my thought. It sounds like you're putting it sort of back to stock.
If I don't want to screw with it, I'll put it up for sale, or trade for a stock 05 ECU +cash on top of course.
