Default Idling Problem at stops

How come right when I start my car or even when I come to a complete stop with my foot on the clutch and brake all the way down at the same time that first few seconds after I completely stop, the car makes this idling noise like its about to die and the shift knob kinda shakes, then sounds and goes back to normal afterwards? How do I fix this? Its kinda scary. I know my throttle body is clean, cuz I looked inside it. Thanks!

It's not a "problem". Often the ECU gets "confused" particularly when your weather changes, or temps get into the 30-40 range. First, DO NOT give it gas when it "stalls". This will only make it worse.

Give it a few days, and it will likely correct itself. If it doesn't, try the map sensor "whack" which is in the FAQ at the top of this forum.

that's because pretty much all S2000's do it. mine does it all the time when the weather changes drastically. it's nearing spring, so a lot of places are going through temperature changes.
