Default The importance of the little MAP O-ring

So my s2k was running like hell; very rich, poor idle, random 3k rpm cutoff, ect. Posted about it on these awsome forums, was told it was most likely a vacuum leak, or the TPS. I couldnt find a vacuum leak, and I checked the TPS with a multimeter. It checked out good, so I ordered a MAP because that was about the only other thing that made sence. My shiny new MAP came in today, so as i was taking the old one off I noticed that the little washer was missing, sure enough that was causing all my faults. Silly me.

it's just a black round rubber o-ring, it is embedded into the bottom side groove of the sensor so you might not see it unless you look for it.

Yep, technically it would be called an O-ring, not a washer.

Fixing the thread title. It's a o-ring, not a washer.
