Couldn't find info on 08+

Pretty sure thats when we started to use small hamsters to drive the engine -_-

Sadly I think these prices have double since.

The 00-03's cost ~$160-170 now and the 04-05's cost ~$80-85.

Edit: forget it, you can still get them for that price online.

Autozone will sell you an exact 01' match for $95. It's a denso part in a duralast box. Just give them a day to ship it from their hub to your local store.

Can anyone provide detail on how to test the coilpack resistance to see if its not running correctly? I'm not the best with electrical issues/testing, so is there a way explain how to test with a multimeter?

For instance, what is the resistance of a properly working coil and through which parts do you test (ie - inside spark plug boot, certain "blades" on the connector).

Any insight would be helpful.

I'm curious as to why Honda sells the '01 coils for $89 a peice, and the '04 for $45? I'd really like to know what change they made internally. If you go by '01 coil prices, the autozone coil is a good deal being it's available the next day. They do sell a +04 equivilant for 90ish which is a ripoff.

I wish I would have known how much cheaper the newer coils are.

You can't really test a coil pack without a coil tester. The transistor in it isolates the coil from your meter.
