I actually have video of the owners s2000 and the first production kit at the track so the claimed 1/4 mile times are true. They said the owner let off the car before the traps.

What is the latest on this kit? Price? Durability? I want a turbo kit so bad, i just need someone to tell me honestly that they have a turbo kit on there S2K with stock internals for atleast 6 months with no problems, and I will be all over it, it seems like all the turbo kits for the S have to many problems. I am not looking to turn up boost or run 11's. Just want some low end turbo pull for around town driving!!!

Okay all, there seem to be a lot of doubts and questions on this kit. I installed this kit on my car since the beginning of summer. I have had no apparent problems with my car driving in the beating summer heat. This kit is very reliable and the way the pipes are run, is the best looking in my opinion.

First off, the headgasket. It drops compression down to 9:1 which where most FI people like to be. You have to get the timing gear re-timed so the cams will sit at TDC with the pistons. InlinePRO will send you one with the kit and you send them your old one as a core.

You guys that like to criticize the kit before you have seen it first hand are very ignorant. Kane you have criticized this kit since it was released. What are you doubting? That you can't run high boost with such a simple setup? Guess what? I am. I myself am running 14psi daily with just 625cc injectors, a fuel pump and VAFC. My car idles FINE, and it runs GREAT. Oh yeah, and I am running about 20 degrees of total timing at WOT which is well in the safe area. What else are you doubting? I work on cars for a living and probably have been boosting before you could even drive so don't tell me I have no experience. Why don't you get your car running and see how much money/time you have spent and lets see your outcome and what makes its so superior to this kit, this year if possible. If I wanted to run higher boost as the owner of InlinePRO is, all I need to do is add an FMU. Right as of now I am running full fuel (VAFC is at 0% all across the board for high throttle) and my A/F ratio is right between 12:1-13:1. Is that safe enough for you?

Okay okay, I do have a problem with the kit, my stock clutch is slipping. When it was on a 4th gear dyno run, it started to slip around 6K rpm cause it was too much for it. We did a 3rd gear pull to take some load off and lowered the boost to 12psi and it made 320RWHP and 240torque. With a new clutch I will return to the dyno and make a 4th gear pass at 14psi which should net me about 350-360RWHP or higher. I am gonna put in an InlinePRO 6 puck ceramic sprung hub clutch that they developed just for the S2K. Other than that it has been a reliable kit and very very fun and fast to drive.

Still skeptical? Come on down and I will give anyone a ride as I already did to some local S2Ki members here. If this kit was so unsafe, why has Inline sold so many and you never hear about them failing?? I do not work for InlinePRO, the owner and I have known each other for a long time and are good friends. Any other questions?

Ill have my car back tomorrow, Ive had the turbo kit for about 5 months. I now have a motor done by them also. I made 319rwhp @ 8lbs on a stock motor. It should be around 450rwhp tomorrow. I drove and have been in Johns car alot it runs great. He ran a 11.9 @ 109mph The trap speed is slow because he let off at the end after he hit the 4th gear rev lim. I ran a 12.8 @ 112 with a stock clutch and Kumho tires. He has done all of the testing before he sold one kit. As lone as you dont turn up the boost your fine. For the money its great. Just as Spankee said Ill give any one a ride that wants one just PM me

This is a great thread. I wish I had some idea about what the hell all of it means. I am ignorant to the workings of a combustion engine, but this thread has made me want to go get certified as a mechanic. Thanks guys.

this guy had a built bottom end, i am surprised he hasnt posted yet. He is on honda tech and here his video went all over the net and was posted here in the gallery. It is not just a head gasket the guy claims to have spent about 10k on this setup. i am 99% sure this is HIS.
