Default Inner engine parts.

Ok. I have a question that I know nothing about and I need some pro help. Im looking into buying a turbo charger for my S2000. Im looking into buying the Stage 6 - Stage 2 turbocharger kit. The kit is recommended to run at 7 psi with stock internals. Can all of you tell me what parts of the inner engine I need to change to higher performance, what brand parts I should buy, and how much they will cost around. I know I want to change to higher performance Cams, Rods, Pistons and Gaskets. What brands do you guys suggest and if possible put a estimated price next to each part. Thanks a lot guys. Im not too smart with inner engine parts .

The only cams out are Toda.

As for getting a built F20C you need to contact cjb80 about a Mike Simon motor. With your stock motor as the core a built Mike Simon motor will run you $6,800. You could potentially just get a built short block for about $3,500-$4,000 (I assume). Read this thread for more information.

lol sorry about that. Im just really tired. I thought you were talking about pistons when you said the only cams are Toda. heh sorry about that. If Im going to be doing turbo do you think that, Toda Cams, JE Pistons, and a good quality set of rods and gaskets would be enough to raise a turbo boost to 14psi?

There seems to be a little secret to getting JE pistons to work well in an S2000. Mike Simon has worked out all the issues and is producing motors that handle over 20 PSI. So, with a Mike Simon motor, 14 PSI would be a cake-walk.

Do you think if I just throw in a set of 9:1 JE pistons and forged rods.........the car will run good with the turbo? Are there any advantage or disadvantage when i do this?
