hah thanks, hope that wont put to much stress on the subframe bolts though.
Thats the process as specified in the manual. Trust me, those 6 bolts are more then enough to carry the weight of the motor. One bolt could do it.

. If you have an impact gun, it takes like a few seconds per bolts. There are 6 bolts you need to loosen. You also need to disconnect the steering wheel shaft from the rack.
dam, can you get me a write up on how to do that ? or thread

and the sequence of the mounting procedure for the engine mounts, i know there is a specific order

It's covered in the Helm manual. You should be able to find an online version somewhere.

Once you start trying you'll want to drop the subframe. It's not a big deal to drop the subframe. As best I remember you don't need to completely remove all the subframe bolts. It seems like the rear ones have 2 sets of threads to make it easy to drop the subframe enough to get to the bolts so that you don't have to try to realign bolts.

There is a really good DIY listed in the materials at the top of the forum for lowering the subframe to get the top tranny bolts that I used when I was swapping my tranny. It's the DIY for swapping the tranny. I had never done this before and got it done pretty easy using that.

I am very jealous of your engine bay.

the best way to do it if u have a engine hoist is to hoist the front of the car off the ground as high as u can then slide the motor and trans as one peace under the car then line it up and lower the car back down then hook the hoist back up to the motor and lift it up and bolt the sub frame back up and your golden
