Hmm, lowering the subframe is standard procedure for getting to other things in many other cars, not just the S. If a shop refuses to do that then they have no clue what they're doing. Look elsewhere.

Is there a way for the frame to not go in dead center? I thought it was designed to dead center itself on the bolts. I've heard an alignment is needed right after, but nothing that will get things out of spec. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
well im doing it myself, im not 100% sure if it goes in dead center or has some play, i would assume it has some play and that why i want to avoid dropping it but i guess im going to have to
