Insulating stock airbox and intake hose with Thermatec heat wrap...

Did you run the insulation all the way under the airbox? On mine, instead of going the "radmat" route, I covered the front/underside of the airbox. I haven't taken any measurements but essentially all that is not covered/insulated is the horn and the top of the airbox.

I bought the silvery bubble-wrap stuff from Home Depot, it's apparently used as additional insulation in attics (just wide enough to be nailed up to the joists/studs).
