hey just put on my invidia v3 and its really loud...now im thinking about getting the T1r test pipe, will this increase or decrease the noise level? and what else can I do to make the noise level just a little less without putting the silencers on

i should have my invidia test pipe installed middle of this week, i can let you know, i have the v3 and yea its loud but thats why i got it.

 

the only different in sound that you'll get between different test pipes is straight test pipes vs. resonated test pipes. the resonated one will be a little more quiet.

 

My test pipe made it louder but it also sounds better I think

 

When my test pipe was in there without silencers I thought I was going to loose my hearing ASAP.

so I put the cat back in and the sound wasn't quite as loud but I found it droned a bit more.

Cat with silencers is my DD set up and it's not loud at all.

 

itll be louder outside the car, quieter inside

 

I'm fairly new to car mods... Is a test pipe california legal? Like if you were to get pulled over by a cop, and he looks under and sees that you have a test pipe, would you get a fix it ticket? Also no cat is illegal correct?

 

test pipe is not legal in California(i.e.-the strictest state with regards to car pollution)
