question about changing fluids

I change my tranny and diff every other oil change but thats just me I'm sure you can go alittle longer. I use GM syncromesh for the tranny and mobile 1 gear oil for the diff. Later Marcus

i use MTF for tranny and Motul 80w-90 for the diff

Kinda overkill from above but it never hurts to do it more then needed.
Diff channge every 4th oil change with motul 80w90
Tranny every 3rd oil change with gm synchromesh as well
But I usually drive mine for less then 5000km's a season so I just be sure to do it all once I get my car out and its good for the season so maybe Im far overkill

My car is a garage queen, so it sees only about 3-5000 miles per year at most, so i change my oil at 3000 miles, then right before it goews into winter storage, then i also change the tranny fluid and diff fluid right before winter storage as well. It is good to get rid of old fluids right before the car is stotred for an extended period of time. hope that helps.

IMO the frequent trans and diff changes are not needed... lube testing has shown the need is not there. Cannot argue with accelerating the recommended schedule as viscosity breakdown can be faster than wanted but changes any more rapid than 12K miles or every year are not warranted.
