Issue with oil change.

I wasn't mislead I was just using your write up as a brief reference; I should have read it more thoroughly. But I in fact was under the impression that I had removed the seal and cleaned away the extra oil drippings. This it's my fault that I did not double check, I'm just glad I had the help to guide myself where to check again.
The write up was excellent as they are whenever I use them. Just my own negligence, but we learn from our mistakes though.

....finally figured it out but not before I left two gouges in my friends garage floor....
Silly things happen, and I know you'll never forget to check the gasket again....<-------------------has proof that wheel chocks work

).ps. I did exactly what you did on my old Viper. Double gasket, filled it with 9 liters of oil, started it up and huge pool of goo under the car.
I'm sure we've all done it or something like it. But I'm willing to bet you'll never do it again.
