Default jumping idle at cold start

Happens infrequently, but what's going on when I start the car (cold) and the idle jumps from 1 to 1.8 (back and forth) for a few seconds and then regulates itself?

Thanks

I see this as a couple of possibilities.
You could have a "lazy" MAP sensor. Try the "MAP whack":

and ECU reset (this is the same as the CEL reset):

Also, your emissions control secondary air injection system might be having a bit of a brain fart. This only operates on cold starts. Some owners have reported this system needing some attention.

If your car is starting OK and running well, I wouldn't worry about this little glitch.
