you need to take out the fuse for the fuel pump, hold WOT, crank the same number of time for all cylinder, recheck the number at least once.

put a little bit of antiseize or motor oil on the thread of the tube, sometime i put them on so tight they kinda stuck there

the idea of hold WOT is to let the motor breath, there's no point to see how well the motor perform with a closed air supply.

drop a teaspoon of oil into each cylinder before you test it, it will help get the correct number with less turn-overs.
