My car is a stock 06, no mods, no alarms, stock everything, even radio & CD player (would rather listen to the engine), my battery is 1.5 yrs old, and runs down in a weeks time if I use the keyless entry to lock and unlock my car. 2 weeks ago I stopped using the keyless entry and my battery has stayed charged the entire time. I drive approx. 300-350 miles a week. Am I the only one on the planet that is having this problem? Have searched forums to no avail. Thanks

 

The alternator and battery have been tested, they are both okay, the battery is 1.5 years old, and with the remote turned off maintains 12.6 volts. which starts the car easily.

 

how many times do you lock/unlock your car between driving it? can you not plan ahead and take the stuff that you will need inside?
