KIA 4.77 Gears are out of the diff!
You would not want that much power with a lower gear. Only because the diff. as a complete unit is known to be weak. If you have that much power, you definetely want to buy the Comptech reinforcements. And maybe even have the whole thing cryo treated.
Ok, about the cryo treatment. I live on a island and I have no clue what that is. Is there any site of that? Cuase maybe I can buy a new diff from honda in the us and send it there so they can do this cryo thingy to it.
I am really planning on getting that much power, depends what I'm needing, maybe 400 will do it, but you never know. So I really need to reinforce the diff asap before I start with my project.
or what will be better is if I buy a cusco one right? But are those reinforced already or i have to cryo them too?

Very confusing all this.
SO the 4.44 is available from Madzda
and the 4.625 and 4.778 from Kia ?!
the 4.625 only in Australia...am i correct on all this?
Is there a price difference between these sets?!

Yves

How much of a difference will I feel when I swap these KIA 4.62s for my 4.57s?
particularly becuase you're pushing over 240whp?and the difference between the 4.62 and the 4.57 is negligible. you'd hardly notice any difference at all.
