Default Knock Sensor Problem

I just had the clutch and flywheel replaced on s2k and the 2nd day I had it back the cel came on. I scanned the codes and bad knock sensor. Well I reset the cell and drove 10 miles on cel. I left the car for about an hour and decided to go to the store and got about 2 miles down the road and the cel came back on. Does any one have any ideas? Or do I just need to replace the knock sensor?

It might or might not be clutch replacement-related. If so , it could be a loose connector to the knock sensor.

honda knock sensors are essentially very sensitive microphones. alot of times, the added vibration from an aftermarket clutch can trip and even damage the sensor.

try replacing it and see if it occurs again.

I bet its a damaged knock sensor/harness because its in the way of where you would remove that tranny/starter bolt in order to replace the clutch

The sensor was broken when they removed the upper starter bolt.
