Okay I just opened back up the climate control module. I actually can do the a/c and rec indicators! The only one that I cannot do is the mute indicator. Which is rarely on anyways. Since im here I guess im gonna go ahead and try the blue fan indicators, and probably do the a/c indicator blue also, and wait till I get those red LED's and I can do that amber one in red. Its worth a try!
go for it!
Thanks man. I got everything completed that I can get done with them. Now once I receive my red LED's (probably on tuesday) I can get those few in and they are ready to go!
I'm going to be busy all this week with my new job and stuff, but ill get them all completed this week. Then since im off work and everything this weekend ill tear my dash apart Saturday and get them hooked up to make sure everything works, and get some pics.

Im starting to get very irritated. 13 business days after the guy said he shipped those red LED's, still nothing. He said he shipped them USPS, so if they dont come today (my mail comes around 3 o'clock), it will apparently be next weekend until I can get these done. Frustrating. This guy never sent a tracking number or anything so no telling where they are. Hoping they come today. Ill post up if they do or not. If they do, expect some pics later on tonight.
Well they came today. I got the AP2 set finshed up for now.

A trip that I've been working on for awhile ended up getting canceled
, so I decided to convert my dash to red, because the hideous orange has bothered me ever since I bought the car.
I bought a red filter for the tach from Qube Engineering and all the LED's I would need for the rest of the controls. The radio controls turned out great! The AC controls weren't as bright, but this is a common them with this conversion. Type A's were actually brighter in the AC controls than the correct Type B's. I just wanted to let you guys know not to get the red LED's yet. I'll let everyone know what happened after I approach autolumination with this issue. s
These are my results. The tachometer is a perfect deep red, but somewhat less bright that stock. The radio controls are also a perfect red (though they and the tach are a little over exposed in the pic)! I used the Type A bulbs instead of the correct Type B in the AC controls, because they were a little brighter as I mentioned before. The temp control knob is still a stock white bulb. This entire conversion cost me $80.

Seems no matter the bulb color...or the depth of the bulb's base...the A/C lights just don't' want to go brite
. I've done direct bulb swaps with blue LEDs as well as white LEDs and both short based and tall...same poor brightness results
