Have '01 S2000 with around 2500 miles. Problem is when shifting into 5 th gear at times it seems to go over to almost a "7th" gear. Have taken to dealer twice say they notice some play in linkage but after calling Honda Tech Services in Calif. say there is nothing they can do. Notice problem more when driving at high RPM's but can happen also at lower RPM's.

Anyone else have this kind of problem? If so, what was done to correct?
