I WAS WONDERING...I EVEN ASKED THE DEALER OF THIS...FOR MY S2...I HAVE A PRETTY ABUNDANT MILES LOGGED ON MY VEHICLE..SAY ABOUT 33K ON IT... I USE IT AS A DAILY DRIVER TO WORK...BUT ON THE WEEKENDS I USUALLY GO HOME AND END UP PUTTING 150 MILES..TO WHICH TOTALS TO 300 PLUS MILES FROM HOME TO WORK...MY QUESTION IS WILL THIS RUIN MY PERFORMANCE?,AND THE LIFE OF MY ENGINE??? I AM VERY ANAL ON MAINTENANCE AND HAVENT MISSED A SINGLE ONE...THE DEALER TOLD ME I COULD RUN THE HELL OUT OF IT...BUT HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS TO HIS ANSWER..IM IN NEED OF A SECOND OPINION..I KNOW HONDA MAKES GREAT ENGINES.. CAN ANYBODY HELP WITH INFO ON THIS...OR AM I JUST PARANOID...?

THE CAR SHOULD BE GOOD FOR QUITE A FEW MILES. I AM AVERAGING 25K MILES A YEAR AND HAVE NO MISGIVINGS. MY BIGGEST CONCERN IS WITH THE BEATING THE CAR TAKES WITH ALL MY DAILY DRIVING ON BUMPY ROADS, POSSIBLY LEADING TO SQUEAKS AND RATTLES. I HAVE NO CONCERNS ABOUT THE LONGEVITY OF THE ENGINE.

Several owners have passed the 100k mark, myself being one. The last 35k were with a Comptech SC, but otherwise it's stock. Lots of highway miles, many mountain drives, Dragon Runs, and a few track days.
Still runs great, does not use any more oil that it did at 10k. I have one rattle which I believe is in the exhaust system because it appeared right after a recent repair, but other than that the car is still remarkably tight.
Drive it and don't worry about it.
