OK so i want to get a 2000 S2000 at a dealer auction online. It was a theft and the only problem was this. It says it has $700 worth of damage, but with these wires i'm not sure what i'm looking at. Any help? thanks.

needs a ECU and looks like the person ran some shitty amp power wires..

 

Interesting pic...this is good evidence that the way theives are stealing our cars is exactly the way I suspected they were.

 

It's missing something besides the ecu. The ecu only uses the three plugs on the left. The one coming from the steering wheel column is different. Is that the imobilizer?

 

thats the ignition wires that connect to the fuse box... it looks like there is an ecu in there though? or am i wrong? whats the box on the left side?



i have a pretty good idea on how they steal these vehicles as well... unfortunatly

yes the ECU is still in there. prolly took out the immobiler and looks like they tried taking the ECU by the way the plugs were removed
