Default Looking for nut for lower portion of shock

See where the bolt at #16 goes into the stock shock, there's a nut that seems to be welded onto the stock shock itself. I just installed Megan coilovers and actually don't have that nut, and Honda probably doesn't have a part number that fits the s2k for it, since there isn't a separate nut from factory.

What did you guys use? A generic one from home depot, or anything else maybe cross referenced from another car?

Looks like the same issue is for front and rear also.

I just ended up using a nylon lock nut with my coilovers.

- Includes 4 19mm nuts for perfect fitment.

Just noticed, but I got mine fairly new from a local, so no nuts on them.

Take the bolt to a hardware store, and find a Grade 8 nut for it. Maybe grab a lock washer to go along with it if you feel they will back out.

There are also locking nuts (has a flange with cuts in it) if your hardware store is good, they should have those.

Ohh, gotcha, I was thinking of bringing the bolt to Honda to see if they can cross reference any other nuts.

Would using a locking washer seize the nut more in the future?

I used 90372-SR3-003 (12mm flange nut) for my Penskes. Fit perfectly with the stock bolt, like it was designed that way!
