Low compression cyl 2 & 3

^AP1 will have a harder "kick" when vtec comes on than an AP2 fyi

Very possible, my car ran like crap, bad idle, bad gas mileage too. Not saying this could be your problem but a valve adjustment is simple enought to look into. I had 80K miles since the last one, so the honda recommended 100K is too long.
